Juan Rivera returns to NSU as the team's full time assistant coach after a stellar career under coach DePalo.
Rivera came to NSU after serving as the best defensive player at American HS in Miami, Fla. Rivera was an impact player during his five seasons with the Sharks and was a starter in his junior and senior seasons. Over his last two seasons combined, Rivera logged 2,469 minutes, ranking second on the team during that span.
Rivera was a smart player who could serve in several roles on the backline. He will look to use that knowledge to help a young Sharks team in 2013.
